For the third straight year a Centennial student took home the IABC Student of the Year Award. Graduating student Arlette Bax won the award on May 18 at the IABC OVATION Awards Gala.
The CPRS (Canadian Public Relations Society) Toronto chapter awarded its annual ACE Awards on May 4 and Centennial College PR students once again swept the student category winning two awards for “Student PR Communications Plan of the Year.”

A new academic award for Corporate Communications & Public Relations students at Centennial College was announced on November 24, 2010 at the program’s 30th anniversary celebration. The scholarship, donated by Frank Cerisano, Centennial College’s Executive Director of Development and Alumni Affairs, will be available for students enrolled beginning September 2010.
