It’s not every day that you get the chance to rewind time. And when you do, here’s how you can make the most of it. Centennial College Corporate Communications and Public Relations students are playing host to ‘Put your fun face on,’ a carnival-themed fundraiser.
For those of you who are wondering – yes, the corporate communications and public relations program at Centennial College is nothing like what you experienced at university. If your years of academia were anything like mine, this is music to your ears.
In Canada four out of 10 adult Canadians age 16 to 65 – representing nine million Canadians – struggle with low literacy. Fifteen percent of these people have not achieved the minimum literacy skills required for coping well with the complex tasks demanded in today’s workplace.
Students in Centennial’s Corporate Communications and Public Relations program in Pickering will host Starlight Movie Night on Tuesday, November 27. The event is a benefit for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
