Ready, Aim, HIRE! is the latest initiative as part of Centennial’s School of Communications, Media & Design’s collaboration initiative, Project Fusion. Created in September 2012, Project Fusion is an organized answer for students at the Story Arts Centre wanting and looking for opportunities to collaborate with one another.
For those of you who are wondering – yes, the corporate communications and public relations program at Centennial College is nothing like what you experienced at university. If your years of academia were anything like mine, this is music to your ears.
I personally came to Public Relations and Corporate Communications program after a long soul searching journey. I knew I needed to find a career that would pay my bills, but I also knew I needed to find something that I enjoyed doing.
Two recent graduates from Centennial’s Corporate Communications & Public Relations program were recognized at the college’s annual awards dinner on Thursday, November 18.
The faculty team at Centennial College received a big boost this Fall with the addition of Donna Lindell to the full-time roster for the Corporate Communications & Public Relations program.
As part of its commitment to global citizenship, community involvement, and helping students grow into leaders of tomorrow, Centennial College recently participated in the ClimateSpark Social Venture Challenge. This past October, Corporate Communications and Public Relations students dedicated their time to reviewing submissions, writing comments, and creating mock releases for each of ClimateSpark’s social venture projects.
