Join our students at their ‘Lit from Within’ fundraiser (assignment)

Lit from Within is a fundraising event that aims to bring together creatives, writers, donors and supporters to raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Book Bank of Toronto. It will be a spoken word event that allows young writers, poets and artists to perform their work to the public. Our intention is to raise a minimum of $1,500 from our guests through entrance fees, donations and raffle tickets donated by our sponsors. The funds earned from the evening will be donated to the charity for essential needs and to continue funding the literacy program for kids coming from low-income families. Our purpose is to provide these kids with books for their studies, personal development, bring more donors and awareness for the charity itself.
