It’s time to sift through your closets, call up your Aunt Muriel or visit a nearby Value Village because on Monday, Dec. 5, Centennial College’s emPoweR team is putting on the holiday party of the century: The Ugly Holiday Sweater Party.

We’re talking early bird prizes, a 50/50 draw, silent auction, spiked eggnog, opportunities to create that perfect holiday season photo and the ULTIMATE Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest!

Every single penny made during the event will be donated to Dress for Success, a charity dedicated to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

The festivities will kick off at 7p.m. at WAYLA Bar, located in Leslieville at 996 Queen St. E. (accessible by #72 bus from Pape station or #501 Queen streetcar). Tickets are only $10 in exchange for the most joyous night of your life.
