Talk is Cheap 4.0

Do you have an interest in social media? What about public relations and sports? Then Centennial College’s fourth annual social media unconference, Talk Is Cheap 4.0, is an event you need to attend.

Our opening panel discussion tackles social media and how it relates to the world of professional sports. It features sports broadcaster, Scott Russell, as a moderator and sports event marketer, Sunny Pathak, as well as many other sports experts.

This free event also features a series of unique participant-driven social media workshops which cover a variety of topics including: creating your own person brand, website design, the concept of democracy 2.0 and a presentation on how influential social media tools like Klout actually work. Talk Is Cheap 4.0 emphasises an open and engaging atmosphere and provides an excellent chance to meet people interested in the rapidly expanding world of social media. Talk is Cheap 4.0 also has a fundraising element, and we’ll endeavour to donate $500 to Canadian charity Right to Play, which places an emphasis on children and sports. We’ll have a number of giveaways and raffle prizes throughout the night, so make sure to see what great items we’re featuring!
