It’s hard to believe yet another semester has passed. Seventy students, who 14 weeks ago barely knew the definition of public relations, are now skilled when it comes to event planning, social media platforms and discerning between a tactic and an objective… and so much more!
Three teachers from Centennial’s Corporate Communications & Public Relations program were nominated for this year’s George Wicken Award for excellence in teaching. It’s the first time there has been three nominations from one program. The teachers — Donna Lindell, Vivienne McCuaig and Lisa Rebnord — were nominated for the prestigious honour by their students.
The faculty team at Centennial College received a big boost this Fall with the addition of Donna Lindell to the full-time roster for the Corporate Communications & Public Relations program.
