Student Event: Spotlight Horizons

As the weather gets colder, there’s nothing more comforting than the warmth of your own home. But what about those who don’t have a home?

Approximately 11,000 homeless youth roam Canada’s streets every night, with no place to go. This November, Torontonians can help.

On November 27th students from Centennial College’s Corporate Communications & Public Relations program will be teaming up with Horizons for Youth, a Toronto emergency shelter that provides at-risk youth with the opportunity to become contributing members of our community. The two will host Spotlight: Horizons, an event that will raise funds and awareness for homeless youth. The event will include live performances by local artists Sam Cash and Daniella Watters, a silent auction and exciting door prizes.

Spotlight: Horizons will be held at CHURCH on Church. Tickets are $20 and include entrance to the event, a door prize ticket and a drink ticket. Be sure to check it out!
