On April 6, 2011, Corporate Communications & Public Relations students will host a silent art auction in support of the Broadview Community Youth Group. The BCYG provides affordable, entertaining and educational programs for youth aged 4-12 in East Toronto.

On Dec. 2, 2010 join six CC&PR students for a night of live music in support of the Touchstone Youth Centre. Located in Toronto’s East York neighbourhood, the centre is dedicated to helping homeless youth in crisis make immediate and positive changes in their lives.

On Wednesday, November 24th a team of students from this year’s CC+PR program will be holding a celebration in honour of the 30th anniversary of the Corporate Communications and Public Relations program at Centennial College. A cocktail reception will be held at Six Degrees Event Centre from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A group of Centennial Corporate Communications & Public Relations students had the opportunity to work closely with Webster Media Consulting to help launch the 2010 Planet in Focus International Environmental Film & Video Festival at Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum on September 22, 2010.
Students from Centennial College visited the Dominican Republic in March 2010 for its first international service learning trip. Eight students volunteered with youth and children in impoverished rural communities.
