Student Event: Who Do You Wannabe?

Spice up your life! Don’t you really, really, really wanna zig-a-zag ahh? We thought so! That’s why we’re throwing the biggest ‘90s throwback to hit Church Street in years. Join us on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at The 519 Church Street Community Centre for a live show from Toronto’s own WANNABE Spice Girls Tribute Band.

Centennial public relations students get environmentally conscious while practicing their writing skills

As part of its commitment to global citizenship, community involvement, and helping students grow into leaders of tomorrow, Centennial College recently participated in the ClimateSpark Social Venture Challenge. This past October, Corporate Communications and Public Relations students dedicated their time to reviewing submissions, writing comments, and creating mock releases for each of ClimateSpark’s social venture projects.

Cheater’s Trivia Night for the Children’s Book Bank

A group of students in the Centennial College Corporate Communications and Public Relations class of 2012 is hosting an inaugural fundraising event for local charity, the Children’s Book Bank. The MC for the evening will be Ontario Library Association’s book award nominated children’s and young adults’ author Robert Paul Weston.
