A group of Centennial Corporate Communications & Public Relations students had the opportunity to work closely with Webster Media Consulting to help launch the 2010 Planet in Focus International Environmental Film & Video Festival at Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum on September 22, 2010.
The Corporate Communications & Public Relations program at Centennial College is celebrating its 30th Anniversary. The program began at Warden Woods campus in September 1980 as a two-year undergraduate program known as Organizational Communications. Today, it’s one of the top post-graduate corporate communications and public relations programs in Canada.
The Corporate Communications & Public Relations program at the CCC was thrilled to welcome Mallika Chopra as a guest speaker earlier this year. Mallika, founder of Intent.com, is best known as the daughter author Deepak Chopra. Mallika inspired our students with highlights from her education and career, and offered valuable advice for students about to start their professional lives.
Students from Centennial College visited the Dominican Republic in March 2010 for its first international service learning trip. Eight students volunteered with youth and children in impoverished rural communities.
Vive la France! Vive les bleus! The rallying cries of French fans during this Summer’s World Cup. The ups and downs of the French team and the passion of the French fans was captured by CC&PR student Stephen D’Angelo as he blogged for the Toronto Star’s World Cup, Toronto Voices series.
