True Colours
Early this October we were thrilled to have Doug Bolger from award-winning training company iLearn2 visit the Centre for Creative Communications to lead their Communicate Naturally workshop for Corporate Communications & Public Relations students. The workshop uses the metaphor of colour to help students learn about collaboration and communications, and to work better in teams by recognizing the communications styles of others.
Collaboration is a key element of learning in the CC&PR program, and across the School of Communications, Media & Design. Employers identify collaboration as one of the critical skills they’re looking for in graduates. We’ve recently launched a cross-school collaboration effort that has students from different programs working together on projects outside the school.
iLearn2 has posted a great post on the workshop at Centennial College that includes reflections from many of our students. Click on the picture below to read the post.
