Graduates Recognized at Annual College Awards Night
Two recent graduates from Centennial’s Corporate Communications & Public Relations program were recognized at the college’s annual awards dinner on Thursday, November 18.
Paul Falcitelli received the Kay Staib Memorial Scholarship from IABC Toronto.
The award is given annually to the graduate with the highest GPA from the two classes that year.
Paul also received the Dean’s Award earlier in 2010.
Salza Khakoo received the Gary Schlee Scholarship for writing achievement.
The award, launched in 2008, is given to the student with the highest grade over both semesters in the program’s writing courses.
Gary Schlee, who was the founding faculty member of the CC&PR program in 1980, presented the award to Salza.
